The Pipeline portal has been replaced by our new "My.SBCC.edu" portal.  Click here for information on how to log in, access resources, account settings and more. Your account information and email address will remain the same, with the addition of new benefits that will greatly improve your SBCC experience!

Payments are split into three equal payment for each teaching assignment. If faculty teach in Term I and II, during the month that contains both terms, they will be paid both for the remainder of Term I and the first payment for Term II.

Teaching Loads will be paid no later than the 10th of the following month. Note: This is the new noncredit instructor pay schedule effective Spring 2024 term.  Pay will continue to be evenly distributed monthly based on the length of the class term, the class start date and the class end date.

Article 12 states:

  • 12.1 Hourly non credit faculty shall accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour for each seventeen (17) hours of service. Such accumulated sick leave is available for use only after the member has taught thirty-six (36) hours.

  • 12.2 Adjunct faculty may claim up to 60% of their annually accrued sick leave, accumulated and carried over from the prior academic year, for use for Personal Necessity.

  • 12.3 All unused sick leave shall be cumulative from year to year unless there is a break in service of three (3) semesters or more. If adjunct employees become contract or regular employees, their accumulated sick leave shall remain credited to the employee.

Submit a Certificated Absence Form to your program manager.

Please visit our Contact Us page and reach out to your program manager and their administrative assistant to let them know you need a substitute.  They will reach out to faculty who have been approved as substitutes. If you are unable reach your program manager, please contact the Dean.

Active noncredit faculty are eligible to receive up to 5 hours of paid professional development during the Fall and Spring semesters.  In order to receive this stipend you must have a current noncredit teaching assignment in the Fall or Spring in which you are completing the professional development activity. 

Before starting any professional development activities, please reach out to your program manager to make sure the activity is approved and eligible for payment. Please submit your total professional development hours using the Noncredit Faculty Professional Development Form by the end of each qualifying Fall and Spring semester.
